A new patch means new leaks. Check out all of the leaked skins, cosmetics, items, and the new shotgun found in the game files.
Today was a big day for Fortnite leaks. We saw leaked skins, a leaked shotgun, a new explosive item, and news of a Stranger Things set coming to the game.
This round of leaks comes a week after we got zero leaks in the last patch. There was a bit of a scare that the leaks would be prevented in the future, but we now know that's not going to be the case.
The fact that all of the files from last week's patch were encrypted begs the question: what was Epic hiding?
All Leaked Cosmetics
There were a ton of leaked cosmetics this week, especially considering we thought we might be facing the leakpocolypse after all of the files in last week's patch were encrypted.

Air Strike

The Air Strike item is another new feature that will be coming soon to Fortnite. This patch, Epic actively limited the number of explosives in the game with the Boom Bow and Dynamite getting vaulted.
This change could be pacing the way for a new explosive: The Air Strike.
We don't know how this item is going to work at all. Based on the image, I'm thinking that it might call in a bomb that will fall from the sky on the desired location. If so, this would be another headache for late-game competitive matches.
Drum Shotgun

The Drum Shotgun might be the most interesting piece of information found in the Fortnite game files. This looks to be a fast-shooting shotgun with a large magazine - but that sounds like I just described the Combat Shotgun.
It's possible that this shotgun will deal more damage from range than some of the others will, based on the nerf to the Combat Shotgun's range. That seems to go against how the gun appears in the image, however.
This new shotgun has a chance to completely shift the meta if it's done correctly. Here's to hoping there will be a use for this new weapon and it won't be a Tac Shotgun 2,0.

There aren't any images of the Stranger Things set just yet, but we know it's coming. I can't wait to see which characters they adapt from the show.
My money's on Jim Hopper getting a tribute.
