Fortnite has held back-to-back events this season with Fortnite X John Wick and Fortnite X Jumpman. With the new Godzilla movie around the corner, many fans are speculating that a Fortnite X Godzilla crossover is next in line.

Epic has been laying it on thick with the crossovers lately. We had the Endgame crossover not too long ago, followed by John Wick and Jumpan right after that.

Things are getting spicy at Polar Peak right now. The mountain has been melting and cracking for about a week or so, but now the ice has retreated enough to show an eye moving around at the bottom.

The eye follows players as they move around it, and emits a squeal when you get close.

This doesn't confirm a Godzilla crossover, but the number of recent crossover events combined with a high-profile movie is enough to get the theories flowing.

Sound files found by data miners also lends credibility to a Fortnite X Godzilla crossover. They sound like a squeal - similar to the screech of the massive monster Godzilla.

We've been hearing rumors of a monster event coming to Fortnite for three or four seasons, now. A leaker who formerly worked at Epic told the public that there would be a team-based monster event coming into the game, where each team has one monster they need to protect.

A Godzilla crossover seems like it would be the ideal time to implement such an LTM.

Unfortunately - whether this is Godzilla or not - all of this probably means that Polar Peak is going down. The ice has only revealed an eye so far and has to melt quite a bit more to free whatever is trapped inside.
