The Twitch and Esports community has been up in arms about Tfue suing his organization, FaZe Clan. Nearly everyone has weighed in on the situation except Tfue himself - until now.

The Fortnite world - and the gaming world in general - has been waiting on the edge of their seat for Turner "Tfue" Tenney to speak out about the lawsuit with his organization FaZe Clan.

For those who don't know, the story broke earlier in the week that had Tfue suing FaZe Clan for illegal practices. The allegations included an 80%/20% split in FaZe Clan's favor for brand deals, as well as some other stuff about underage drinking, gambling, and pressuring Tfue into doing stunts.

Last night Tfue released a short video explaining his side of the story.

Tfue's Response

Tfue offered a short response to the situation, telling his fans that he asked his lawyer to remove aspects like underage drinking and stunts from the lawsuit.

He also claims that there are areas of his contract that are worse than the reported 80-20 split on brand deals in favor of FaZe.

According to the video, Tfue sees this problem as larger than himself. He wants to make a stand for gamers everywhere who are getting taken advantage of by bad contracts like the one he signed.

He ends the video with a plea to FaZe to release his contract to the public.

Reactions to the Response

FaZe Clan owner Banks has been one of the loudest voices throughout this whole situation. He remained active on Twitter and claimed that FaZe is planning on releasing the contract to the public.

Streamers like King Richard and Poach watched the response video on their streams, and echoed the same sentiment: Tfue was going to blow up with or without FaZe.

Poach revealed that Tfue was scrimming with Liquid at the time he signed with FaZe as well, and said that the ultimate decision was between Liquid or FaZe.

"Regardless, if he joined Liquid too, the same thing would have happened. It's not FaZe. I don't like that argument at all," he said. "He became the personality he is because of him winning and doing well and streaming - and that would have happened regardless of what org he was on."

Poach went on to say that a lot of streamers and pro players got bad contracts at that time. No one knew whether or not Fortnite would succeed as an esport. This was before Epic announced the huge financial support they were putting behind professional Fortnite.

The story is still developing, and we'll have more information as it becomes available. Follow us on Twitter @FortniteTracker.

Update: Tfue's alleged contract has leaked. More details to come.
