Epic Announces the Fortnite World Cup: Creative

Fans of the professional Fortnite scene have been watching and participating in the Fortnite World Cup over the past couple of weeks. Well, Fortnite has a new competitive treat in store for us: The Creative Fortnite World Cup.

The Fortnite World Cup has taken the Fortnite community by storm, but not everyone will get a chance to compete for millions of dollars in prize money.

Have you ever wished there was an easier way to get your name out there in the Fortnite world? Well, there might be a way to do just that.

Today, Epic posted a blog announcing and detailing the new Fortnite World Cup - Creative, saying:

Hey Fortnite Fans,

If you haven’t already heard, the Fortnite World Cup Online Qualifiers kicked off on April 13 and concludes with the Fortnite World Cup Finals in New York City from July 26 - 28. The Fortnite World Cup is part of our $100,000,000 commitment towards competitive play in 2019, but that prize pool isn’t limited to Battle Royale gameplay.

We’re proud to announce Fortnite World Cup - Creative!

This event focuses on creative mode and will culminate in 15 participants going to New York to compete for $3,000,000 in prize money.

How to Qualify

The qualifiers for the event take place from April 29 to July 7. This is your opportunity to try the five showcase Creative Trials and submit your clips on YouTube.

After that, the fifteen participants will be selected and brought to New York for the Fortnite World Cup Creative Finals.

The first map - fittingly - was created by the Creative Mode master himself: Cizzorz. He'll be the judge of the first round of submissions.
