Epic Games has revealed that a new update for Fortnite will be available on September 12 for all platforms The update 26.10 will bring some changes and fixes to the game, but it will also require some server downtime.

A tweet from the official Fortnite status account announced that update 26.10 will have downtime beginning on September 12 at 1am PDT / 4am EDT / 9am BST. Players will be unable to matchmake from 12.30am PDT / 3.30am EDT / 8.30am BST onwards, which is half an hour before the downtime starts.

For those in the US, downtime will begin at 4 am ET. Epic Games has not provided a specific time for when maintenance will end, but the game should be back online by 5 am ET at the latest.

It's worth noting that the patch sizes for the 26.10 update will be larger than normal, so players should expect a longer wait time when downloading the update. However, the new features and bug fixes should make the wait worthwhile for Fortnite fans.
