PlayStation Cups are back! All you need to know

Fortnite players will have an opportunity to compete in two January PlayStation Qualifier Cups, one on January 20, 2023, and one on January 21, 2023. Both qualifiers will culminate in the Fortnite January PlayStation Cup Finals on January 22 where top players from the Qualifier Cups will compete for a share of $230,200!

FORTNITE JANUARY PLAYSTATION CUPS (JANUARY 20, 21, AND 22)

Only eligible players on PS4™ or PS5™ consoles can participate in the Fortnite January PlayStation Cups. In both Qualifier Cups, players will have the opportunity to compete for the GG Iced Emoticon and a spot in the Fortnite January PlayStation Cup Finals taking place on January 22.

The first Fortnite January PlayStation Cup Qualifier will feature Battle Royale Solo on January 20, and the second Fortnite January PlayStation Cup Qualifier will feature Wild Storm Solo on January 21. You can expect faster early Storm circles and new Storm behavior in the mid-game in Wild Storm. The Fortnite January PlayStation Cup Finals will feature Battle Royale Solo on January 22.

QUALIFIERS TO FINALS ADVANCEMENT

Qualifier 1: The top 50 players in each region will advance to the Finals.

Qualifier 2: The top 50 players in each region will advance to the Finals.

*In the Fortnite January PlayStation Cup Finals, eliminations will count for 2 points.

Among other requirements, players must have Two-Factor Authentication enabled on their Epic account and have an Account Level of at least 50 to participate in the Fortnite January PlayStation Cups. Players can check their Account Level in the Career tab in-game. Players with Cabined Accounts are not eligible to participate in the Fortnite January PlayStation Cups.
