A Fortnite x The Kid LAROI concert looks set to take place in-game later this month. Here’s what to expect.

Tom Henderson of Insider Gaming has reported that Australian singer “The Kid LAROI” is coming to Fortnite.

Insider Gaming sources revealed that the event will be on either January 24 or January 25. This is just a few days before the expected release date of The Kid LAROI’s debut studio album.

Will The Kid LAROI concert be in Party Royale?

The Kid LAROI isn’t the first musician to take to the stage inside Fortnite. Superstars including Ariana Grande and Travis Scott have previously been featured.

However, while some of these gigs happen as huge live spectacles on the Battle Royale Island itself, others are held inside Party Royale mode.

Nothing is confirmed yet, but it seems like The Kid LAROI show will take place in Party Royale. Leaks suggest an upcoming concert built with Unreal Editor, aka Creative 2.0, which is also scheduled to launch in January.

According to Insider Gaming, music from the concert will be playable for a month after it finishes. Therefore it is probably not live, and instead pre-recorded and replayable, potentially as part of the Fortnite Soundwave Series.

The Kid LAROI Fortnite skin

In December 2022, dataminer @Wensoing tweeted that a male skin is in the works, codenamed “Sunburst”. This is directly linked to an upcoming UEFN (Unreal Editor for Fortnite) with the same codename.

There’s a very good chance that this is a The Kid LAROI Fortnite Outfit, which would be available in the Item Shop during the concert.

This would likely be an Icon Series Outfit, perhaps with bonus alt styles and accompanied by a selection of matching accessories.

Now that Epic Games staff have returned from their winter break, it’s time for content to start ramping up. It wouldn’t be surprising to see an official announcement for the Fortnite x The Kid LAROI concert very soon.
