In an unexpected Twitter post, Team Vitality announced its withdrawal from the Fortnite competitive scene, thanking and bidding farewell to players and staff. Team Vitality has been part of the scene since 2018; it was crucial to the game's growth, and its players always brought crazy results under the Vitality banner. They earned more than $357,000 within four years, but due to a desire to rationalize, the team decided to leave Fortnite.

Not much information was provided in the announcement, but it was enough to close this chapter of the organization's life cycle for good.

According to the Team Vitality website, the organization currently focuses on the following:

  • League of Legends (both LEC and LFL)
  • FIFA
  • CSGO
  • Rocket League
  • Valorant
  • And content creation resources marked as "ambassadors."

To focus on a "small selection" of the ecosystem, it will be interesting to see if Team Vitality succeeds in bringing out other eSports platforms.
