Here’s everything you need to know about Tuesday’s Fortnite v21.30 patch.
As the Fortnite No Sweat Summer event rages on, another hotfix has been deployed to keep things fresh. Expect new content and the return of a very popular item.
Some fans have been disappointed with this year’s summer event, but Epic staff will be back from their break next week – hopefully, this means more fun updates!
Crash Pads Unvaulted
A true Fortnite favourite, Crash Pads are finally available in-game again. Use them for quick mobility, saving yourself from fall damage, or even to bounce straight into someone’s base.
Find them in Chests, Supply Drops, or as floor loot. Crash Pads will not be included in competitive playlists.
Another Reality Bloom has appeared at Condo Canyon. However, right now it has only affected half of the POI.
Bungalow Blooms will rotate between Colosseum, Tilted Town, Lazy Lagoon and Coral Castle themes from match to match.
New Boop! Emote
A brand-new cosmetic arrived in the latest Fortnite Item Shop refresh. You can now purchase the Boop! Emote for 200 V-Bucks.
This is a Synced Emote, so you can use it to interact with other players.
New No Sweat Summer Quests
Finally, the official @FortniteGame Twitter account posted to announce that a new batch of No Sweat Summer Quests are ready for to go.
The Day 13 Product Recall Quest asks you to "Bust through doors in different neighbourhoods". You'll receive a tasty 15,000 XP upon completion.
That’s about it for this week’s hotfix. Look out for bigger changes starting next week, plus the highly anticipated Chapter 3 Season 3 FNCS Finals.
The Fortnite x Dragon Ball collaboration is also still scheduled to drop before the end of the season. With C3:S4 fast approaching, fingers crossed we’ll get that Goku skin at some point during August.
