When does the John Cena skin release in Fortnite?

American wrestling star turned actor John Cena is coming to Fortnite, with his own icon skin.

Epic Games staff may be away on summer break, but the surprises keep coming. Following last week’s No Sweat Summer update, they’ve now released details of an upcoming John Cena Outfit.

When does the John Cena skin release?

The John Cena Outfit and accompanying accessories will be available in the Fortnite Item Shop from 8PM ET, July 28.

Though the price hasn’t yet been confirmed, these Icon Series skins tend to cost 1,500 V-Bucks. There’s also normally a more expensive bundle option if you’re after the other gear too.

So, what exactly is in the John Cena Set?

The skin itself comes with two styles: Entrance Gear and Ring Gear. When you buy the Outfit, you’ll also get the WWE Championship Title Back Bling.

Other items available include the Five Digit Slapper Pickaxe and U Can’t C Me Emote – which features John Cena’s legendary entrance theme music!

Epic SummerSlam

This new arrival comes as part of a wider collaboration between Epic Games and the WWE. The Epic SummerSlam brings wrestling heroes into the worlds of Fortnite, Rocket League and Fall Guys.

Rocket League fans will be able to pick up a pair of custom Octane Decals, inspired by Roman Reigns and John Cena respectively.

Meanwhile, a trio of fresh fighters enter the Blunderdome in Fall Guys. Asuka, Xavier Woods, and even The Undertaker himself will be immortalised in Bean form.
