Experience Fortnite competition in a whole new way!

Epic Games has added some new test events to the Fortnite Compete tab featuring a selection of unique game modes.

These initial tests are only available on EU servers, but you should be able to take part from elsewhere by changing your region in-game. If successful, Epic will likely roll them out globally.

You can see all the other tournaments coming up on our Events Page.

Here’s the schedule:

Money Wars Test Event

Date: Wednesday, July 6 (17:00 – 19:00 CEST)

Description: “Solos. Be the last player standing. You have unlimited games”.

Based on the popular “Bed Wars” minigame from Minecraft. Upgrade your Island and protect your bed at all costs.

Finest’s Realistic 2v2 Test Event

Date: Wednesday, July 6 (21:00 – 23:00 CEST)

Description: “This is a public test event of "Finest's Realistic 2v2" map. Each game is first to 4 rounds. You have unlimited games”.

At the beginning of each round, you will spawn into a map designed to resemble the terrain on the actual Fortnite Island. You’ll get a random competitive loadout and battle it out against the opposing duo as you would in-game.

Whiplash Test Event

Date: Thursday, July 7 (17:00 – 19:00 CEST)

Description: “Duos. Race against 7 other teams. You have unlimited games”.

Pretty self-explanatory. Drive the Whiplash sports car around a racetrack quicker than everyone else.

Jewel Rush Test Event

Date: Thursday, July 7 (21:00 – 23:00 CEST)

Description: “Fives. Score the jewel in the other team's goal or be the last team standing. You have unlimited games”.

There’s not too much information on this one. It sounds like it could be a Capture-The-Flag style mode, potentially inspired by the Getaway LTM.

All times subject to change.

None of these tournaments will have a prize pool. However, even though they’re just test events, you may still need Two-Factor Authentication enabled on your Epic account, so it’s probably worth getting that done ahead of time.

Keep track of your score during these test events via our live leaderboards.
