The stream ended abruptly but everyone in chat was excited to see Mongraal again!

Kyle “Mongraal” Jackson went live on Twitch for the first time in two months on Tuesday, treating supporters to a rare Fortnite stream. Almost 16,000 people were watching as he won his first Solo Arena match of Season 3.

Sadly, the good vibes didn’t last too long, and the broadcast ended after just under two hours. “Unfortunately it is what it is with the Fortnite…everyone knows that it’s boring right now” said Mongraal, before sending his viewers over to Benjyfishy, who recently quit competitive for similar reasons.

It’s not all doom and gloom though. Mongraal did promise, “I’m gonna try to stream a bit more”, adding “I’m gonna probably be live again soon”.

The problem seems to be choosing what to stream, since no games take the FaZe Clan star's fancy right now. Last week he tweeted that he has a vlog camera set up, so real life content could potentially be on the horizon.

Fans will have their fingers crossed that the wait isn’t quite so long for the next stream.

UPDATE: Later on Tuesday, Clix mentioned that he may be doing a sponsored stream with Mongraal next week.

Mongraal shot to Fortnite fame in 2019 thanks to his crazy fighting skills, high-energy comms, and funny personality. Since then he’s remained one of the game’s most popular streamers, and even won the Chapter 2 Season 4 FNCS.

After that FNCS victory however, it became clear that Mongraal was quickly losing his passion for competitive Fortnite. He played less and less, and his placements suffered accordingly.

Late last year, he effectively announced his retirement from Fortnite competition, but said he may still hop on occasionally for fun.

Though the streams remained inconsistent, Mongraal did start sharing updates on his gym progress.

Based on Tuesday’s stream, a full return to Fortnite is very unlikely unless something drastic changes. Hopefully, we will get to see more of Mongraal soon though, whether it be on a new game or IRL.
