Solo World Cup winner Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf will become the next creator inducted in the infamous Icon Series
While he is commonly referred to as the most successful competitive Fortnite player of all time, Bugha has left a lasting mark on gaming. His Solo World Cup win accounts for the single largest Fortnite prize in the game’s history, and his competitive prowess continues on years later
Bugha has continued to prioritize two crafts since that infamous day: Fortnite and streaming. On his ascent to the top of Twitch, Bugha has amassed over 4.5 million followers on Twitch, and many millions more between Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter
Today, Bugha’s brand takes another meteoric leap with his induction to the Icon Series

Bugha’s bundle will include a skin, duel wield pickaxe, glider, and dance emote. Check out his full announcement on stream:
The only critique floating around is that this crossover should have happened sooner. It’s arguable that no other candidate fits the bill closer for the Icon Series and now it’s becoming a reality
Additionally, competitive players should be happy to hear that Epic Games will be running a concurrent arena gamemode labeled “Bugha’s Late Game”

The trios game starts at zone 3 with loadouts already distributed. It reads like a hybrid between competitive Fortnite and zone wars
Congrats to Bugha for his well deserved achievement, and good luck to all the sweats out there fighting for their slice of Bugha’s $100,000 prize pool
