Competitive Fortnite was relieved to see that the potentially meta-changing “Inflate-A-Bull” is not going to be in competitive game modes
After Epic Games deployed another hotfix in an attempt to keep Fortnite Season 7 fresh, players had mixed feelings about the new Inflate-A-Bull utility item
For those unaware, the Inflate-A-Bull acts almost like a jetpack in one’s inventory, with a health bar and specific amount of uses. The item allows you to enter an indestructible bouncy bull and exit at will
Fortnite announced the changes earlier today

IO agents have nicknamed it the Inflate-a-Bull!

Players have already started to tinker with the item’s physics and test it to the maximum limits. Here’s what happens when you drop from maximum build height in one of these things:

But not everyone was excited with the Inflate-A-Bull, with most notable criticism coming from the competitive community. Players widely believed this would massively shift the competitive meta and there was not enough time to adapt
Fortnite quelled these fears by affirming this item will not be in competitive shortly thereafter

While the item can serve for some crazy fun times, Epic Games made the right call by keeping it solely in core game modes
