Top European professional Pinq accuses his org-mate Bubak of cheating at competitive Fortnite and was promptly removed from his team for “inappropriate behavior”

Lootboy is one of the up-and-coming teams making a name for themselves in Fortnite’s largest region. Just last season, the team hoisted the FNCS championship as their player Queasy was a third of the winning trio

This story involves two of Lootboy’s other top prospects Pinq and Bubak. Both players are multiple-time FNCS finalists and top European prospects

Earlier today, Pinq expressed his frustrations with Bubak on Twitter with a wild and brazen cheating allegation

In a thread, Pinq suggested that his teammate Bubak “100% cheat[s],” to which Bubak responded by calling the behavior “inappropriate”

Only hours later, Lootboy issued a statement and announced parting ways with Pinq

The story progressed rather quickly, so let’s head back and answer the question that everyone is wondering

Is Bubak cheating?

No. After Lootboy investigated the matter, they concluded that Pinq’s accusations were baseless and defamatory

Pinq later publicly apologized to Bubak for spreading false claims, mentioning that his previous statement was “out of anger and incorrect”

Bubak ended up hashing the beef with Pinq. Though people are misguidedly sending him hate for “kicking Pinq” from Lootboy. According to Bubak, he never wanted or expressed Pinq to be removed from the org

Recently, players have been heavily scrutinized by Epic Games for behavior on social media. Organizations have followed suit, displayed by this recent PR meltdown

Do you consider Pinq’s actions inflammatory enough to be kicked from his team? Let us know on Twitter
