TSM’s largest Fortnite content creator and creative warrior Ops has announced further involvement in The Fortnite Guy’s BFC

Ops has been the beneficiary of an unlikely success story. As a competitive player, he experienced moderate success. Ops’ competitive highlight was during week 6 of the Fortnite World Cup, when he and Yung Calculator were inches away from qualifying for the big tournament

He has continued to thrive competitively but on a much lower scale. Where Ops has really blossomed over the past year is his content creation. He and his friend group, which features the likes of Clix and Khanada, have absolutely taken over Fortnite on Twitch

The part time creative warriors and competitive streamers have one common denominator: everything is live streamed. These creators have become Fortnite’s version of Real Housewives in a way

Today, Ops announced his increasing stake into the creative Fortnite scene in partnership with BFC

Box Fight Championship is a creative-orientated event organizer that hosts four to five digit prized invite only tournaments monthly. Top creators, including many of the aforementioned, compete in these events and draw hundreds of thousands from around the world to watch

The organization was founded in early 2020 with an attempt to start off with a bang. But due to Coronavirus concerns, BFC was forced to cancel their weekend long reservation at Luxor’s Esports Arena to host what many considered the “World Cup of creative fighting”

Today, BFC takes a huge step in the right direction

Ops is one of BFC’s most talented regular competitors. His involvement at the ground level has been nothing short of pivotal in the to-date success of BFC. Locking Ops into BFC at an ownership level only further confirms the entity’s success in the long term

Players are looking forward to more creative events, whether it be hosted by Epic Games or a third party

“A lot of people may disagree but I would really like Epic to start supporting the creative comp scene, it’s actually really fun to watch plus no RNG. Obviously nothing compared to BR but I don’t see why they both can’t co-exist. Boxfights, Realistics and zone war tourney’s would be amazing,” said u/Beloved93 on Reddit

With Epic Games also toying with the idea of Box Fight tournaments as of late 2020, multiple avenues of support for creative means that the mode isn’t going anywhere soon. Whether you like Battle Royale or creative more, you can’t deny how mesmerizing it is to watch raw mechanical skill, unabated by RNG or dead times that plague BR

Good luck to Ops and BFC, we’ll be watching (and cheering you on!). Follow us on Twitter for more competitive insights
