The pair were visibly chuffed with themselves following another magnificent performance.
On Thursday night, Twitch Rivals hosted the second annual Streamer Bowl featuring Fortnite. Pros, creators and NFL athletes battled it out over a $1,000,000 charity prize pool, but it was more than just money on the line.
For reigning Duos champions Cody “Clix” Conrod and Chicago Bears running back Tarik Cohen, it was about maintaining bragging rights. And, with the help of community qualifier “Xacial”, they did just that.
Even after a quick exit in the second game courtesy of a Nate Hill headshot snipe, the Trio ended up winning two of the four matches played.
Going down to the wire, @ClixHimself went on a run…

Throughout the event, Clix did an impressive job of leading his less experienced partners. However, when they both dropped early in the final game and he was left alone, he demonstrated his true skill. The NRG star fearlessly clutched out a heap of placement and eliminations points, which was ultimately enough to cement the overall victory.
Controller pro “Scoped” took the number two spot, but it was his former FNCS teammate receiving all the attention. Turner “Tfue” Tenney, and his perhaps not so aptly named team “The Washed Boomers”, picked up third place despite the fact that he hasn’t properly competed since last summer.
Having made a brief return to Fortnite in December, Nick “Nickmercs” Kolcheff was back again for the Streamer Bowl, securing a respectable mid-table finish on the leaderboard. He seemed to have a good time regardless, and he and Ali “SypherPK” Hassan are now on the hunt for a “cracked out” Trio.
