Today we embark on what most consider the first real competitive event of the year. Will you be the one to take it down?

Dreamhack rose to fame within the Fortnite community as the largest 3rd party tournament provider. Over the better half of last year, Dreamhack partnered with Epic Games to dole out over $2 million in prizes

And $250,000 more will be handed out over the course of the next week between Europe, NA-East, and NA-West

IF YOU HAVEN’T DONE SO ALREADY -- SIGN UP FOR DREAMHACK RIGHT NOW USING THIS LINK: here

But if you’ve been confused by the Dreamhack schedule, don’t fret. Many people are experiencing the same -- and I’m here to clear the air and give you the January itinerary you need to be prepared

First thing’s first, the format. Dreamhack has a reliable event window with two open heats followed by a semifinals and finals. That hasn’t and probably won’t change in the future

In this month’s case, the two heats are separated by over a week. Perhaps a scheduling problem created this, as previous heats would be completed back-to-back. Here’s the full schedule for all regions:

Europe

All times in BT

Heat 1 - Sunday, January 24 @ 1-4PM

Heat 2 - Sunday, January 24 @ 4-7PM

Heat 3 - Saturday, January 30 @ 1-4PM

Semi-Finals - Saturday, January 23 @ 6-9PM

Finals - Sunday, January 24 @ 2-8PM

NA-East

All times in ET

Heat 1 - Friday, January 22 @ 6-9PM

Heat 2 - Saturday, January 23 @ 2-5PM

Semi-Finals - Saturday, January 23 @ 6-9PM

Finals - Sunday, January 24 @ 2-8PM

NA-West

All times in PT

Heat 1 - Friday, January 22 @ 6-9PM

Heat 2 - Saturday, January 30 @ 2-5PM

Semi-Finals - Saturday, January 30 @ 6-9PM

Finals - Sunday, January 31 @ 2-8PM

Europe gets the unique opportunity of hosting three qualifiers this go around. If you hail from that region, now’s your chance to make a deep run in Dreamhack!

Best of luck to all the competitors this evening. Follow us on Twitter to keep up to date on all things competitive
