The Devourer of Worlds is here, but how can you ensure you get the best view of the fight?
After months of build-up, we are finally just hours away from the most highly anticipated in-game event of all time. Galactus will wage war on the Island in what promises to be a dramatic and exciting finale to Fortnite’s Marvel themed Season 4.
The action is set to begin at 4pm ET, but Epic Games has suggested that players log in at least an hour before this. As usual with these kinds of events, Creative mode and other playlists will gradually be taken down as the start time approaches.
While we may all still be the dark, some Fortnite dataminers have already had access to, and watched the event multiple times. Thankfully, they chose not to post any spoilers, but they do have some useful information for us all.
Any hill near the agency https://t.co/FgzSo7MaMJ— HYPEX (@itsRealHYPEX) December 1, 2020
When asked about the best spot to experience the event from, @itsRealHYPEX (the personal account of @HYPEX) responded “any hill near the agency”. Now technically named The Ruins, this central part of the map is generally the home of in-game events.
However, after recommending finding a vantage point on a nearby hill, Hypex added, “Actually, you might not get to stand near the agency cause the game will/might forces you somewhere else”.
So basically, try to set up on a hill around The Ruins, but it’s really not the end of the world if you end up somewhere else (unless Galactus wins I guess?).
We can’t wait to see what Epic has cooked up and are looking forward to the new season. Be sure to check out our three simple ideas to make Season 5 awesome.
