Epic has revealed a new monthly subscription package which is set to release in time for the arrival of Season 5.

Earlier this month, leakers shared the possibility of an upcoming Fortnite subscription service. Certain players received a survey asking about different aspects of the membership, hinting at what it may feature and potential price points.

Epic Games has now officially announced “Fortnite Crew”. Launching December 2 with the start of Chapter 2 – Season 5, this new subscription will offer a range of exciting perks and exclusive cosmetics.

What is included?

Battle Pass

You will gain full access to the current seasons’ Battle Pass, which will continue to provide 100 tiers of original content. When a new season begins, active Fortnite Crew members will automatically unlock the Battle Pass.

Crew Pack

Each month, you will receive a new Crew Pack. This is an exclusive outfit bundle, meaning you will get a skin and matching accessory that is only available to Fortnite Crew members.

V-Buck Bonus

How does a bonus 1,000 V-Bucks per month sound? Don’t worry, you can still unlock extra V-bucks through the Battle Pass or even purchase more if you you’re a big spender!

The first Fortnite Crew Pack will include the Galaxia Outfit and style, as well as the Cosmic Llamacorn Pickaxe and Fractured World Back Bling.

Whilst pricing may vary depending on your region and local currency, players in North America can join the crew for $11.99 per month. You can subscribe directly from the Item Shop or Battle Pass purchase screen, and cancel at any time via the in-game Fortnite Crew tab.

If you decide to cancel your subscription, you will keep all previously awarded Battle Passes, V-Bucks and Crew Packs. On top of this, your benefit will remain effective until the end of your current billing period.

You can read the answers to frequently asked questions and learn more on the official Fortnite Crew landing page.
