This is the first major rework of the Item Shop since the early days of Fortnite and it does not disappoint.
Following leaks earlier on Tuesday, Epic Games has now confirmed that the Item Shop redesign is live in a new blog post.
Having previously released the updated shop to a small group of players for testing, the developers have listened to feedback and are good to go. The refreshed layout should now be available for everyone, if you do not see any changes, try restarting your game.

The new Item Shop looks great, the design is clean, modern and easy to navigate. Rather than grouping certain cosmetics together, each item now has its own individual tab, which features an image, name and price.
If you are planning on buying something in the updated store, remember that for the rest of the year, real money purchases, including the purchase of V-Bucks, may earn you up to 2 months of free Disney Plus.
The highly anticipated Last Laugh Bundle is expected to arrive in the Item Shop very soon. The set, which comprises the Poison Ivy, Joker and Midas Rex outfits, as well as 1,000 V-Bucks and a selection back blings and pickaxes, is already available in a hard-copy format at certain stores.
