Lachlan and TheGrefg are set to become the newest additions to the Fortnite Icon Series.

The Fortnite Icon Series is a collection of cosmetics inspired by some of the biggest names in gaming, music, film and fashion. So far it has featured outfits based on popular Fortnite creators Ninja and Loserfruit, as well as chart-topping musicians like Travis Scott and Marshmello.

Epic Games has now officially announced Lachlan “Lachlan” Ross Power as the next star to be immortalised in-game. His Icon Series Outfit, Back Bling, Emote and Pickaxe will be available in the Item Shop from November 12 at 7PM ET.

Discussing the news in a recent upload, the Aussie YouTube sensation explained, “To say I’m excited is an understatement, this is definitely going to be one of the highlights of my career as a content creator”.

When it comes to Fortnite, Lachlan truly is an icon. From waking up in the middle of the night to cover game updates, to hosting the first ever Fashion Show World Cup, he has consistently gone above and beyond to produce exciting and unique content.

It’s not just videos and streams though, he has also done amazing work for the Oceania competitive scene. Back in June, Lachlan founded Team PWR, an Australian Esports organisation which looks to provide OCE pros with similar opportunities to players in Europe and North America.

Whilst we will have to wait a bit longer to see what Lachlan’s outfit looks like, Epic did add an interesting piece of information. Fans will be able to win the full Icon Series set early by playing in a “one-of-a-kind tournament”.

Again, exact details of the tournament are still to be released but Lachlan did hint that it could be described as an LTM. One thing we do know however, is that it will be available to players in all regions.

Epic Games also confirmed that after Lachlan, Spanish creator TheGrefg will be next to enter the Fortnite Icon Series.
