Superstar Korean boy band BTS are coming to Fortnite this weekend.
Well this came out of nowhere! Epic Games has announced that the next act to perform on the Party Royale Main Stage will be none other than seven-member global sensation, BTS.
With over 20 million albums sold on the Gaon Music Chart and boasting one of the largest social media followings in the world, bookings of this calibre are normally reserved for special in-game events. Perhaps with this event and the ongoing Spotlight Series, Epic are showing that Party Royale mode is to be taken more seriously.
On Friday, September 25 at 8PM EDT, the group will be in Party Royale for the world premiere of their new single “Dynamite” Music Video Choreography version. If you can’t make it to the live show, you can catch the rebroadcast on Saturday, September 26 at 8AM EDT.
How to watch
Load up Fortnite
In the lobby screen, change your game mode to Party Royale
Press “play”
Once you’re in, head to the Main Stage where the event will take place
To coincide with the show, two new Emotes will arrive in the Item Shop on Wednesday. These will each be special dance moves choreographed by BTS themselves.
Also, starting at 10AM EDT on Tuesday you will be able to hop into a re-creation of the world from the original “Dynamite” music video. Community members Yu7A, TreyJTH and SundayCW teamed up to build this masterpiece in Creative mode, check it out with code 0272-4337-3889.
