Expect the perfect blend of competition and content as your favorite Fortnite stars go head to head in Ninja Battles.

Over the last few months, Epic Games have allowed a lot more opportunity for third-party tournaments in Fortnite. From the World Cup throwback cups to the monthly DreamHack Opens, competition is currently at an all-time high.

This all started back in May when Tyler “Ninja” Blevins announced that he would be hosting his own series of events. Ninja Battles saw top pros and streamers invited to take part, fighting over what was originally an $80,000 weekly prize pool.

The series went down a treat, with fans loving the fun yet still competitive format. We hoped for more action over the summer, but unfortunately Ninja’s hiatus from the game combined with what many found to be a tedious Season 3 meta meant nothing came to fruition.

Now though, Ninja battles is finally back! The Twitch sensation has recently had some enjoyable Fortnite sessions with Ali “SypherPK” Hassan and says he’s feeling “rejuvenated”.

Although full details are yet to be confirmed, we do know some key information:

When and where?

The first event is scheduled for today, Monday September 21 at 3pm ET / 12pm PT / 9pm CEST.

You can catch the official broadcast on Ninja’s channel at twitch.tv/ninja or tune in to the one of the contestant’s streams for a different perspective.

Who’s playing?

Ninja Battles may look a bit different to what you’re used to in Fortnite because they only invite 20 Trios. This means the lobby starts off with just 60 players, but don’t worry, you can still look forward to some exciting end games.

Here are some of the teams set to compete today:

  • Bugha, Chap & Jamper

  • Clix, Zyfa & Nosh

  • Benjyfishy, MrSavage & LeTsHe

  • Zayt, Saf & Unknown

  • Ceice, Scoped & Blake

  • Bizzle, Dubs & Emad

  • Nick Eh 30, Replays & Punisher

  • Reverse2k, Deyy & Mero

  • Haz, Ajerss & Coop

A bunch of other top players are expected to feature including Nate Hill and Arkham. So, cancel your plans for the day, this is going to be awesome!
