One of Fortnite’s top content and competitive hybrids further strengthens NRG’s roster, joining longtime friends Clix and UnknownArmy

If you’ve ever scoured the Twitch directory during any Fortnite event, you’ve probably seen Ronaldo “Ronaldo” Mach in action. While Ronaldo is an avid competitive player with his most celebrated achievement being winning FNCS Squad Finals, he’s even more well known for his viewing parties

What is a viewing party? During a big Fortnite event, some notable community members will rebroadcast up to 16 different player perspectives. Explosive figures like Ronaldo frequently pull over 10,000 viewers at any given time

The above clip is the type of content we’ve come to know and love from Ronaldo. He isn’t afraid to show chat all of his quirk which is paying off in a big way today

Ronaldo joins NRG

After Ronaldo left Built By Gamers just a few short months ago, the entire community quietly anticipated his next move. Would TSM continue their roster expansion? After all, they did pick up Khanada around the same time

Nope. After what seemed like an eternity, Ronaldo will be joining two of his good friends on what can now be touted as Fortnite’s most stacked all-round roster

Watch NRG’s 10 minute announcement video - I guarantee it won’t be a waste of your time. We’ve seen some pretty hysterical announcement videos coming from tier 1 orgs as of recent, but I think this one takes the cake. After all, you can’t beat the big Ron

I think Ronaldo is just what NRG needed to round out their roster. To refresh those who forgot, NRG’s current roster is:

  • Zayt

  • EpikWhale

  • Edgy

  • Ronaldo

  • Benjyfishy

  • UnknownArmy

  • Clix

With top players in NAE, NAW, and EU, you’d be crazy to not put NRG near the top of your list when discussing stacked Fortnite teams

I’m ecstatic for Ronaldo’s achievements and sweet new home. More so than that, NRG’s continued investment in top Fortnite talent shows that the game’s competitive side won’t be going anywhere anytime soon

With FNCS Solos coming to a climactic ending on August 15th, we’ll be here to cover any big moves. Follow us on Twitter to never miss a thing
