Following the v13.20 update, Fortnite fans have found a bug which will instantly reload any weapon.

With the average skill level so high in Fortnite, players are always looking for new ways to get a slight advantage over their enemies. Sometimes this comes in the form of a new phasing trick or exploit, in other cases it’s an unintended glitch that slipped through testing.

Today we are talking about the latter. After Tuesday’s content update, gamers came across an easy method of reloading weapons without having to wait.

Reddit user u/Ultrabluex shared this discovery in the r/FortniteCompetitive subreddit. All you have to do is drop the weapon you wish to reload. When you pick it back up, the clip will be full and ready to fire.

The bug will work with any type of gun, or even an RPG. Whilst it may not be useful in every situation, with something like the new Charge Shotgun you’re sure to save some time.

Of course, depending on your input, pulling this off quickly and consistently may take some practice. The last thing you want is to get caught with your inventory out in the middle of a fight.

On Thursday morning, the Fortnite servers were briefly taken down for maintenance, but the reload glitch was not fixed. Despite this, it will most likely be patched very soon so don’t get too used to it.
