SypherPK to host Tilted Towers throwback tournament ft. Nickmercs & Aydan

As well as a strong hit of nostalgia, over $2000 in prizing is up for grabs in SypherPK’s Tilted Towers only tournament.

For the last few months, Fortnite fans have been desperately pining for another taste of the Chapter 1 map. Whilst it seems unlikely that Epic will be bringing the original island back anytime soon, Ali “SypherPK” Hassan has a solution to help us all relive the good ol’ days.

Sypher recently announced that he will be holding a Tilted Towers only, Mini-BR tournament on Friday, May 29. The event will make use of a custom-built Creative Mode map, which very closely resembles the infamous POI. Mini-BR is a 16-player game mode, designed to recreate the standard Battle Royale experience in a much smaller scale environment.

A selection of top Fortnite pros are taking part, including Kiwiz, Hogman, Ceice, Megga and Punisher. Perhaps even more excitingly, the kings of Tilted, controller stars Nick “Nickmercs” Kolcheff and Aydan “Aydan” Conrad will also be there to defend their title.

The tournament isn’t only open to big name streamers however, Sypher will be running qualifiers for his Twitch subs earlier in the day. These qualifiers will begin at 11AM ET, and the finals will kick off at 6PM ET. For anyone interested in trying the Tilted Towers map, the code is 0097-4721-3831.
