The Fortnite v12.30 update is live and guess what? We got some content! Here’s everything we know so far.

New Items

Crash Pads are now available in-game. This new piece of kit can be thrown below you to prevent fall damage and give you a little boost. They drop in stacks of 3 but unlike similar items like Bounce Pads and Launch Pads, Crash Pads will take up 1 of your 5 inventory slots.

Also new in v12.30 is the Kingsman umbrella. This parasol can be used both offensively and defensively. Swing it at an opponent to deal 50 damage, or open it up to deflect incoming bullets.

Deadpool Leaks

It looks like Deadpool will soon be taking over. Everyone assumed that completing his challenges for Season 2 would lead up to unlocking a Deadpool skin, but it now seems like much more is coming.

According to leaks from @Hypex, Deadpool will be getting his own POI. The superhero will be taking over the Yacht, and will possibly become a mythic boss. Of course, this means he needs his own mythic weapon, which appears to be a pair of unique dual Hand Cannons. There are even Deadpool themed supply drop designs.

People have estimated using the calendar in Deadpool’s hideout that something will happen on Friday, April 3. However, there is also a chance that it could be as soon as Wednesday, which is April Fools day.

Hypex also has us covered with all of the latest cosmetics that will be coming to the game soon.
